Academic Projects
Smart Bike (Senior Design Project)
• Team Leader developed a system in bike containing LCD Fitness Display (actual speed, distance traveled,
calories burned, heart rate and ride time).
• It contains USB port for charging cell phone and safety LED lights. All of these electronics are powered by
solar panel fixed on back of bike. It also contains Battery Management System to manage rechargeable battery.
• Managed a team of four, serving as Project Manager, assisting team members with calculations, estimation
and building schematics for the project
• Defined scope of work for project along with generating project timeline for sequential success.
750 W DC-DC Boost Converters
• Designed 750 W DC-DC Boost Converters with closed loop system in CCM (Continuous Conduction
Mode) and DCM (Discontinuous Conduction Mode). It has Input Voltage of 75 V and Output Voltage of 150 V.
• Designed Voltage and Current Mode Control for both DC-DC Boost Converters to improve Voltage and
Current stability. PSIM software was used for design and simulation.
4-Bit Synchronous Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU)
• Designed schematic and layout of 4-Bit Synchronous Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) by Cadence Tool using
0.25 Micron CMOS technology process
• Based on operation codes provided through control lines, input was evaluated using respective function and
output was stored in a four-bit D flip-flop register.
Relevant Skills
• Software: AutoCAD, PSIM, LT-Spice, P-Spice, Quartus, Simulink, Cadence (VLSI Design), Free PCB,
