Bacardi Bottling is a producer of premium rum and spirits that employs 250

non union employees across three shifts.

Responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources supporting

Production, New Product Development, and Distribution Center to include

performance management, employee relations, manager/supervisor coaching,

wage administration, recruitment, secondments/international assignments, on

boarding, employee retention and benefits management.

Reduced medical costs by $1.6m annually while providing better networks and

service for our employees and maintaining the same level of coverages.

Reduced annual recruitment costs by $85k while significantly reducing time

to fill vacancies

Modification of hourly recruitment processes incorporating aptitude testing

position was downsized as a result of reorganization.

Responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources in multiple

facilities, to included performance management, wage administration, full-

phase recruitment, on boarding, employee retention programs, OFCCP

Compliance, policy and benefits administration.

Reduced HR staff by 66%, while being able to maintain high level of

customer service.

Achieved 2.5 million hours without lost time recordable August 2011.

Managed and implemented employee rightsizing due to softer demand of

Responsible for implementing a formal Human Resources structure for seven

facilities, 450 employees, and non-unionized, business unit. Directly

Implemented performance management for the business unit and a pay for

knowledge compensation system for the hourly manufacturing and quality

employees.

Reduced voluntary turnover of employees by 43% in second half of 2006.

Implemented effective recruitment process to increase headcount from 396 to

450 employees, which included pre-employment aptitude testing for all

hourly positions, utilization of temporary employees for up to 90 days with

transitioning them to full-time employment if their performance was up to

our standards.
