Career Summary

My IT experience started in a call center (Teletech, Denver) and on the help desk at a 100 employee software company (Comprehensive Software Systems, Golden), gaining experience with customer service, trouble shooting, and service ticketing systems. Next, I moved to a software startup in Evergreen, as Desktop Technician, progressing to Systems Administrator and Infrastructure Manager. Recent experience is in project and operations management.

Automated project management systems at this construction industry subcontractor, managing more than 40 projects annually and reducing project management staff to one. Designed and supervised installation of

Certification Earned: Sun Certified System Administrator – Solaris 9

As rack space became scarce, I researched and selected a network attached storage device (NetApp), deploying it to host databases, transitioning database servers from 4U to 1U, saving both rack space and power. Assigned responsibility for datacenter infrastructure, I monitored rack bay circuits, UPS load and datacenter temperature, then managed a project adding a cabinet to the UPS, increasing air conditioning by one ton, and installing a diesel generator outside the building.

Retained through three ownership changes, I was an employee of Bank of America when I left.
