X-Ray
• Perform Visual Inspection on Fanblades for surface defects
• Check the dimension of Airfoil and Gauge according to procedure.
• Perform Calibration on ECI and UT equipment.
• Identify surface or very near surface discontinuities in a weld or critical area of the blade using Eddy Current Inspection and
Ultrasonic Inspection.
• Perform Microscopic Inspection on blades under magnification to locate and identify cracks or other defects that may be less
visible by other non-destructive inspection.
