CARES - Computer Assisted Repair and Engineering Services popularly

referred as CARES, is the system that records and dispatches customer

service requests. The customer calls a Regional Dispatch Centre, provide

all the information about the GEHC equipment that needs service. All of

this information is entered into the CARES system and a dispatch is

created. A Field Engineer (FE) is then located who is qualified to service

the equipment requiring service and paged, FE attends the service and

rectifies the problem in the equipment. All the service done by GEHC FE is

entered and maintained in CARES application
