Employed by Accuride (through PSA on a contract basis) as a Purchasing Manager, Accuride is a large

manufacture of metal furniture slides.

I was also involved with transferring for purchasing materials to the new Mexicali plant and helped them

with setting up the department, materials planning and requisitioning.

Steel purchases (20-25 million pounds of steel per month) came from both domestic and foreign steel mills.

This included cold rolled, hot rolled, galvanized coils, and pre-slit material from service centers for smaller

quantity needs
