I am writing to inquire about a possible opening at your company. I am interested in a wed developer position which I found on Glass Door. I am a web developer with experience with Rails and JavaScript. I enjoy building web applications and do so with pride, enjoyment and care. I am driven by the puzzles that coding provides, constant new challenges, and the opportunity to keep learning. I am looking for a company that values these ideals. I want to work alongside dedicated groups of problem solvers who are passionate about the company’s mission.

After attaining a B.A in liberal studies and a Teaching Credential at San Francisco State, I decided to go back to school to Dev Bootcamp. I spent 19 weeks, 1000+ hours at this immersive software boot camp so that I could be trained to be a full-stack web developer. This is where I created Bustin Bash, first Ever Interactive in Browser Bash Tutorial built within 6 days with three other students (http://bustinbash.github.io/).

When I completed my course, I was given an opportunity to part of Deploy. Four students were selected to participate in a three week long immersive work opportunity, with a focus on extended learning with an outside client. This program trained me to operate in a workplace environment by transferring me out of a standard classroom and into the real world where I developed a product for an outside client. With one lead developer and four students, we created BloomingSpoon.com. This application is used today by a female-owned small business, that provides personal weekly catering service.

I am so excited to be applying with your company. I have so much to offer in terms of personality and life experience. Traveling to over 25 countries and living abroad for over 3 years, has given me great people and cultural life skills. I am passionate about what I do, and I could be a great asset to your company.
