another large distributor, contributed to analysis of options for

integration of ERP systems and modification of a deployment strategy for a

business transformation project that was underway prior to the merger

announcement. Assisted in facilitating workshops for key SAP ERP

functions (FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP, FI -AA, SD).Deliverables included

recommended options and a roadmap complete with timeline and high-level

resource estimates.

Client is a new leading global provider of 100G networking equipment with

sales organizations and hardware/software support operations in over 80

countries. The project objectives were to design and implement an SAP

order to cash solution to support business requirements and insure

compliance with local reporting and logistics requirements. To expedite

the implementation; the project leveraged Deloitte's DCHiPS solution (SAP

ECCC preconfigured solution for high-tech and semiconductor industries)

Role: Identification of local statutory requirements for financial

reporting and logistics (outbound and inbound). Data conversion of Fixed

Assets including functional specifications for a custom conversion

program. Preparation of functional specification for custom journal

entry upload program, including design and coding of MS Excel macro

template front end. Configuration of variants for foreign currency

revaluation. Support integration testing and go-live for AA, GL and CO.

Client is an international, independent energy company engaged in

exploration and production, oil sands mining and integrated gas. The

project objectives were to optimize client's use of SAP to support the

business in cost and performance management, streamline business

processes. It included a global SAP Upgrade to New GL, a revised chart

of accounts, BPC, CLM, and SCM. The client was first SAP JVA

implementation that migrated to New GL.

Role: Configuration of CO for Cost of Sales Accounting. Preparation of

LSMW scripts for cost center and chart of accounts (COA) maintenance,

including establishing a group COA. Configure validation and

substitution rules for functional area assignments for WBS, internal

orders and inventory transactions, including functional specs for user

exits. Assist client in developing new cost allocation structures

including revision of all sets used in the allocation process. Prepare

functional specs for custom solutions for implementing cost center and

profit center hierarchy changes. Configuration and testing of currency

revaluation programs used by New GL. Assist in development and execution

of cutover plan.
