Senior CAD Designer

My time with IH started with a 1 year placement with Jacobs Engineering. In N.J.

I worked on the substructure and sign structure on the Witt Pen Bridge Project.

After that project I was in the IH office for about 2 years, working on

all kinds of small bridge and traffic projects for the Garden State Parkway

and the New Jersey Turnpike. I also did work on sign structure on the Bayonne

Bridge Project. I was contracted to work on the Tappan Zee Bridge

Project in Terrytown N.Y. for about a year. After that work was completed,

I am now here working on the Goethals project for Parsons New York Office.

Essex: Redesigned Ashdoor for Ram Feeder. Designed an Inspector door for ash chute. Redesign

ferrous conveyor were some of the larger jobs. Redrawing of plant flow diagrams, assisted in site works

and as-builts for the new office building.

Chester: Redesigned ferrous area, sifting conveyor, pork chop and site plan and traffic flow.

Helped with afterburner grate problems, added tarping station in ferrous, worked on relocation of Ram

chute, redesigned if wear plate and wear bar for combustor and feed chute.

Hempstead: Boiler #2 changed Ram Feeder chute from a water cooled chute to a brick lined chute.

Pugmill drive redesigned.

Worked in Survey and Mapping Department. Responsible for revising and creating environmentally

sensitive area mapping for all generating stations. Revised various power lines right of way surveys.

Other duties included working with Geographic Information System (GIS) which is a system that uses a

wide range of applications including Aerial photography for survey quality output.

well, boring, testpit location with analytical results of findings. NJDEPE, SPDES, SPCC and ECRA

related work including groundwater contour maps, strategraphic cross-sections, isopach maps monitor

construction diagrams. As a Microstation Cad Operator, worked on preliminary design of industrial

wastewater treatment plants. Including flow diagrams and process and instrumenting control diagrams as

well as building

layout and site placement. As Macintosh designer, designed covers for reports measles charts,

organizational charts, schedules and some desktop publishing.

Leonard Engineering mechanical, structural, civil design and drafting was my primary job. Leonard

specialized petroleum terminal and storage facilities including piping and pipe racks storage tanks and

tank foundation plans. Truck racks, pump houses and boiler house designs were also included. Related

field work and some surveying was also part of my job.

Environmental engineering was Environics' specialty. Primary job was the preparation of waste water

treatment facilities plans, NJPDES, SPDES, and SPCC plans and terminal operations manuals. ECRA

related work including site plan, groundwater contour maps, strategraphic, cross-section, monitor well

construction, specifications, isopach, maps and some related fieldwork. Responsibilities for Dale

Construction was preparing and revising architectural drawings and some related field work.

for alterations on existing stores and field checking stores prior to construction. Airbrush rendering.
