Largely focused on building business applications for mobile devices using Eclipse, Android Studio and Xcode.

Worked with a number of small businesses and retail organizations. Currently have 7 apps offered in either Google

Play or iTunes Connect and several more unpublished.

• All apps written for both platforms. IOS (using Xcode) and Android (using Eclipse/Android Studio).

• Push notifications and backend data implemented using Parse.com and/or Kimono.

• Suggestions database with 10,000+ strings.

• Status data saved locally for one-time instructions.

Software Engineer III

Performed a variety of tasks supporting the network switches. Developed various scripts to automate repetitive

tasks and system wide tasks. Successfully deployed VOIP platforms within the network including SONUS,

Metaswitch and Telica platforms. Deployment included integration with SIP trunking, TDM, SMTP, SNMP, HTTP,

SIP/RTP voice switching, etc.

• Provided load balancing, user acceptance testing, and troubleshooting for the deployment of specialized

Compact Switches.

• Functioned as the highest level of escalation for problems with the 5ESS Switch.

• Managed the on-line Records and Asset Verification Service.

ALLEGIANCE TELECOM, Dallas TX 1998 to 2002

Software Engineer II

Performed all software related tasks on the 5ESS Switches including translations, switch authority, and the switch

database (ODBE). Developed an internal troubleshooting capability using software call traces and analyzing

selected switch activities such as failed calls, unbilled calls (fraud analysis), OOS trunk activity and internal

software faults, created software fixes. These fixes involved translations in the 5ESS and the ODBE relating to call

routing, customer features, customer dialing schema, charging and/or billing.

• Responsible for all software related tasks associated with the 5ESS Switches.

• Primary technical contact for our largest customer, Genuity, and responsible for all reports regarding the

facilities that they had on our network.

• As a Sales Support Engineer, provided IDP (Initial Detection Point) translations and tested new software

(DSL, etc.).

• Wrote a script in ASPECT (C based language) that was used to build network collocations.

MFS COMMUNICATIONS, Dallas TX 1995 to 1998

Translation Engineer

Supported Ericsson and Nortel switches writing scripts to automate routine repetitive tasks and to generate reports.

Worked with Traffic Engineering to define the data in the reports. The domestic network consisted of collocations,

customer trunks, trunks to tandems, trunks to end offices, trunks to carriers and the inter-switch trunks. Performed

the translations and did a majority of the probability analyzing to assist in the enabling of least cost routing.

• Selected to track switch hardware using MS Access for the entire domestic network, developing key reports

to management.

• Developed spreadsheets used to forecast the future needs of the domestic network.
