State Farm Insurance is one of the major Insurance Company in US. There are

multiple sources of information about the Company's customers, coverages,

covered items and policies. This project was started to act as a central

data warehouse for policies and claims which is used to convert, extract

and migrate the legacy data applications such as to stage and then to

cleanse, process and loading into Data Marts.

Description:

The essential requirement of this project is to provide a

single source of reporting for the financial data related to the Clinical

systems division of Amgen Healthcare. The project therefore aims to

extract data from the relevant source systems (GL data and the

corresponding sub ledger information) and transform the data into the

necessary reporting format (using Business Objects OLAP tool) on a data

warehousing solution. It is designed to extract data from various sources

and load it in a staging area. The staging data will be transformed, by

applying business rules and made available to business users, reporting

systems and subscribing systems. It is designed to populate various

dimension, relational, fact tables and standard products to cater the needs

of reporting systems and subscribing systems.
