CAREER OBJECTIVES
I am keen to establish a career in the Mud Logging/Logging geologist Unit,
where my exceptional skills, that is, Drilling interpretation, data collection
and report writing skills will be put to best use. I am committed to
continuous training also, to find an opportunity that will allow me interacts
with different experienced technical staff and managerial professionals and
enhance my practical knowledge.

Position: exploration Geologist
Responsibilities:
I do geotechnical logging, wherein I filled the geotechnical log sheet and entered the
data base.
I do geology logging, filled the geology log sheet and entered the data base.
I do Sample mark logging, filled the sample mark log sheet and entered the data
base.
I take professional snapping shot of the core.
I take the density and asked the technicians to dry in the oven and wax then take dry
and wet weight.
With my supervision to the technicians in the core shelf they do the cutting and
sampling.
With supervision from my immediate supervisor we entered the master data base and
review the survey information.

Position: Sample Catcher/Trainee Mud Logging Geologist
Responsibilities:
I collect cutting samples at proper lagged depth or intervals.
Support the Mud logger and Geologist based upon client request.
Work in the mud logging unit that is, learn how to monitor & record all drilling
parameters.
Learns how to evaluate and identify formation properties according to the unit
plan.
Wash, prepare and label samples.
Prepared mud based oil and rig washed water together with the ruff necks.
Packed samples in boxes for shipment.

Project
Position: Technical Advisor in the Construction of Water wells (Part Time)
Responsibilities:
Provide overall guidance on minimum siting requirements, primarily to ensure that wells
are sited where surface and subsurface conditions will not allow contaminants to be
conducted into the well.
Collect and analyze soil samples to determine suitability of selected sites for the
construction of water wells for Farmer Based Organizations in all 13 agricultural districts
Conduct environmental impact assessments for all selected sites and provide guidance
on appropriate mitigation measures
Provide overall supervision during the well construction stage
Field Work in Freetown Complex, Port Loko, Bombali and
Tonkolili Districts.
Responsibilities;
Collect and analyze samples of rocks in terms of textures, colour and mineralogy.
Write a field report and submit to the Department for assessment.
Learn how to use GPS, Maps and Compass to locate position of interest also show the
trends of rocks.
Look for geologic fault in rocks and minerals associated to it.
Field Work in the Bullom Complex.
Responsibilities;
Collect samples of Clay, Sand, Weathered rocks, Fauna, observed the Cliff and other
prominent features.
Write a field trip report on the geologic features.

Responsibilities;
I do the Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and submit the results to my
immediate boss. Together with my boss we do assessment of drilling a bore hole, it effect
and mitigation and the safety of the workers with the environment.
I take the survey team to the field (locality) to survey the environment with my
supervision and recommend maintenance activities.
I request for the materials needed in the drilling of the well, supervised the project from
start to completion.
At the field, I act as the manager wherein I manage both staff and equipment.
