Sercom Management dealt with a plethora of different industries. One of these industries was being a partner with the first
commercial debit card providers in the Republic of Panama. Another was in the sales and administration of Telecommunications
services and minutes. W hile I was working with Sercom, I maintain the responsibility for all IT functions, consulting and
management of the debit card services, accounting and management of telecom minutes sold, and general IT consultation and
management. I supervised and managed up to 7 employees and also filled the role as International Project Manager for a
communications contract with Exxon Gas. Implementation, support and training of the first PBX switch system running Voice over IP
and integrating services for the local PSTN companies.
Sercom Mangement was a partner in the company GTP. GTP was the first non-banked Visa debit card that was sold in Panama. I
was intimately involved in the sales and administration of cards, card systems, and program offerings. I was responsible for
establishing the management of documents and verification of clients in reference to card programs that were sold through Sercom
for GTP. I was frequently involved in meetings with Executive management of GTP regarding security, market possibilities, issues
with Visa, banking issues, and development of the company and product offerings.
