Utilized relational database and spreadsheet programs to organize and maintain Battalion Fiscal account
Advised Company Executive Officer on all open purchases to ensure that the gear was needed and within
our budget. Supervised all government purchase cards and ensured they were paid on time. Advised
Executive Staff on all government contracts for the Battalion and coordinated government contracts from
start to finish. Supervised inventory and embark of all Battalion gear for build up in Kuwait for beginning
of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Developed logistics operations plans in support of military missions.
Controlled in excess of $2 million in assets of materials, fuel, ammunition, and parts. Planned for
operations for more than 700 Marines, and sailors across key logistics hubs throughout the Middle East.
Devised tactical timelines and execution plans for the on-time delivery of logistics required. Headed 24-
hour operations of overseas supply chain nodes and hubs located across five countries.
Supervised database change of all Battalion assets maintenance records to ensure that Battalions assets
will be maintain during training period and combat operations in Iraq . Ensured that all Battalion assets
were accounted for during embarkation operations back stateside . Supervised Table of Equipment
allocations for standing up Anti-Terrorism Battalion for 4 th Marine Expeditionary Brigade and ensured
approval from higher command.
Combat Engineer Officer: Company Executive Officer & Platoon Commander 2004-2007
Trained Marines during pre-deployment work-up for Operation Iraq Freedom 5-7.2 at Twenty-nine
Palms; ensured Marines were proficient in Demolitions, Survivability, Mine Warfare, MOUT, Cache
Reduction, and Exploitation and IED Defeat tactics. Supervised platoon physical training to prepare for
deployment and annual physical fitness test. Supervised inventory and embarked all gear totaling
$250,000 for transportation to Operation Iraqi Freedom 5-7.2 Supported 3rd Battalion 4th Marines with a
platoon of engineers during Mojave Viper Exercise. Supervised training of Assault men, from 3rd
Battalion 4th Marines in Demolition and Obstacle Breaching, Reconstructed Bunkers, Perimeter Wire,
Entry Control Points, and Hygiene Facilities. Ensured all squads where supported through logistics in
construction material during occupying a Forward Operating Bases. Supervised and conducted over 100
combat engineering patrols in Al Qaim, Iraq. Conducted re-engineering efforts to improve upon all
Positions within 3rd Battalion 4th Marines Area of Operations to improve survivability and general
construction safety standards.
