HR Recruiter/Generalist, December 2006 to July 31,2014

As a member of a six person HR team supporting 2,500 employees my main function was recruiting for

all of our support/clerical/supervisory positions; but as a generalist assisting with employee relations,

orientation and training, and HRIS. Responsible for the whole life cycle of recruiting: reviewing and

processing applications, HR screening of candidates, education/credential/reference checks, determine

salary, offer, schedule pre employment physical, onboarding, and conduct new employee orientation.

Key Results:

Structured and implemented programs and policies in the areas of training, compensation analysis, and

new employee orientation.

Implemented two ATS in my tenure: Ultipro Recruit and Taleo Business Edition/Oracle Recruit and

Onboarding. Key person for implementation process, managing changes and compliance in the Recruit

and Onboarding systems.

Increased compliance and reduced the need for auditing onboarding forms due to required forms being

online with field requirements and e signatures: I 9, DCFS Disclosure, IDES, Background

check/Fingerprinting forms, Tax Forms, Employee Handbook and Benefit Books Acknowledgements,

Mission Statements, etc.

Manage the LinkedIn Recruiter role for HR for job slots, company page, create projects and searches, and

use inmails for reaching out to passive candidates. Over 325 candidates have applied through our ATS

stating LinkedIn as their source and we have hired four high level candidates (EMR Specialist, Physician

Liaison, Comp & Benefits Analyst, and Sr. Director of Marketing).

Provided HR Director and COO a full compensation analysis of all hospital positions with

recommendations for new pay grades based off of MCHC provided information.

Met with students from high school and Albany Park Community Center to educate them on healthcare

careers and how to interview, find, and keep a job.

Organized two job fairs for Certified Nursing Assistants and Medical Assistants at no cost to the

organization by working with our ATS to do an invite only fair by inviting the qualified candidates that

have already applied. In 2009 74 candidates attended and 11 hired; in 2012 45 CNA candidates attended

with 16 hired and 15 Medical Assistants attended with 6 hired.
