Managed purchasing, scheduling, warehousing, and shipping which included 80 employees on 3 shifts.

We maintained inventory accuracy of 98% for components, 99% plus for finished goods.

Prior to being promoted to logistics manager, I served as an accounting manager with responsibilities of

payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, sales tax as well as month end and year end closing. During this

time I worked with the State of Alabama to obtain financial assistance and tax abatements in excess of

$150,000

As a financial manager of a five person accounting department I tracked ongoing cash flow budgets,

audited construction project costs, and assisted in construction bids and proposals along with monthly,

quarterly and year end reporting.

R&D Trucking, Inc. – May 1985 – Sept. 1988

Accountant / Controller

Prepared monthly and yearly financial statements, managed 12 person accounting and compliance

department, and performed extensive financial and loan analysis to improve debt ratio.

Education:

BS degree in accounting from the University of North Alabama, graduated in May 1985.
