Global Quality Specialist - Expro Group Aberdeen - March 2012 - to date

Main job function is to drive the strategic development and implementation

of a Global Quality Management System, including the design and development

of the system software.

Other accountabilities include providing worldwide regions, product lines

and functions, with advise, support and training to improve the overall

service quality capability and performance in delivering the business

objectives. Supporting the above mentioned regions and business units with

the development, management and continuous improvement of the Quality and

HSE management systems.

Senior Quality Engineer (Bosch Rexroth Glenrothes) September 2006 - March

2012

Main responsibilities included verifying the ongoing process capability of

cells and other continuous processes within a high volume mobile hydraulics-

manufacturing unit. Employing over 300 people I'm responsible for 6

quality inspectors, which ensures the efficient running of the quality

department.

Main duties included:

. Implement process and product audits to monitor compliance to work

instructions and procedures.

. Apply statistical control techniques, where applicable.

. Ensures the efficient running of the calibration service and its record

system.

. Interfaces with Production Engineering department on the introduction of

new processes and approves their capability.

. Develops quality plans or inspection requirements for 'new' products or

processes.

. Communicates through meetings and reports all significant quality

problems encountered.

Duties included carrying out specific analysis relating to the quality,

yield and consistency of the products, thus assuring the full potential of

the raw material and finished products. During my time there I overhauled

the quality system and made it a cross functional part of the company, of
