PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Medical Products domain within Aetna is responsible for the rollout of new

products offered by Aetna and the the addition of new features/enhancements

to existing products. Medical Products domain co-ordinates projects across

The Aetna Project Life Cycle (APLC) is Aetna's standard project management

and development methodology. It is an end-to-end methodology that begins

Consolidated Eligibility System is an application enhancement and

maintenance project. The eligibility system houses a broad spectrum of

information such as customer level, member eligibility, member demographics

and benefit plan level information. The system undergoes a cycle of

UNIPRISE. The eligibility system plays a critical role in United Health
