Work Experience

Transmission Specialist at Huawei Technologies Co, Ltd. (Oct 2011 – Sep 2014)

In charge of designing, testing, verifying and approve all technical procedures that need be performed on the

transmission network, specially the high risk operations. Technical Director of all transmission projects related with

Telefónica Venezuela. In Addition, supporting others product line projects. Responsible for training new staff,

customer and cooperators. Involve with ASON, NG-DWDM, OTN, Script Method over SDH network, Tangent

Rings, Discrete cross-connections, ROADM and FOADM configurations, Colorless and Directionless systems,

Network Optimization and others. Besides, negotiate directly with the customer technical leaders to find the best

way to accomplish the goals and achieve their satisfaction.

Project Coordinator at ZTE Corporation. (March 2011 – Oct 2011)

In charge of supervise 5 engineers. Responsible for the coordination and logistic for transmission projects, including

supervision of civil works, fiber optic installation in electrical substations, grounding system, shelters equipment

installation and review and approval of engineering documentation. Also in charge of supervise cooperators, budget

verification, weekly reports, daily reports to the customer to show the progress of the project.

Optical Network Engineer at Huawei Technologies Co, Ltd. (March 2010 – March 2011)

Technical director for transmission projects, responsible for the verification of all the technical details within a

project, namely: installation, testing, commissioning, management and software upgrades of SDH, DWDM and NG-

DWDM infrastructures; splicing outdoor and indoor, supervise cooperators, and inform the customer the project’s

status. Additionally involved with high risk operations and troubleshooting on field and on the NMS.

Optical Network Intern at Huawei Technologies Co, Ltd. (Sep 2009 – March 2010)

Responsible for the design and optimization plan for a DWDM network: Involved with Raman and EDFA amplifiers;

G.652 and G.653 fibers; OTM, OLA and OADM configurations, besides responsible for the Network Management

configuration of this DWDM system. Additionally perform the installation, testing and commissioning of several

DWDM and SDH nodes and involved with low impact maintenance windows. Perform local test and basic

troubleshooting.
