Foundry worker/Leadhand

Worked as a machine operator punching out various car parts as

well as filing and gauging parts for quality.

As a foundry worker/leadhand I was responsible for a five man

team ensuring all duties were done properly, these included

operating overhead cranes carrying a 1500lbs pot containing

boiling liquid aluminum to be poured into the machines enabling

them to produce parts. I was also responsible for cleaning and

loading all furnaces as well as housekeeping in the department,

ensuring the dept. was clean and safe at all times.
