• July 2013-April 2014. Lead Discipline Engineer for a variety of projects:

AC High Voltage Test Set installation at Murray Hill substation

138 kV disconnect switch replacements at Corona substation. Project was audited and found to be of high quality overall.

138 kV CCPD replacement at East 13th street substation

• July 2013-April 2014. Provided electrical support to 138 kV transformer fire suppression system design at Jamaica substation.

• January 2011–June 2013: Project Engineer. Established technical goals. Directed installation of intentional EMI (electromagnetic interference) monitoring equipment to secure critical locations of the Con Edison electric grid. $100K R&D project. Project put on hold.

• January 2011–June 2013: Lead Discipline Engineer. Installation of GIC (geo-magnetically induced current) monitoring equipment to measure the effect of solar flares on 15 bulk power transformers. High profile $4M capital project. Company recognized project excellence with Team Award.

Designed system and system installation.

Led cross-functional teams to implement the project: Design, Scheduling, Construction, Test. Provided engineering input to Estimating, Purchasing, Environmental, Appropriation, Property Records.

Optimized work performance to ensure on-budget, on-time performance.

Systems worked flawlessly after installation and detected low-level solar flare effects.

Helped Con Edison save $5 million on this communication project.
