JOB Preparing Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statement as

RESPONSIBILITIES: per Client specification and standard quality requirements.

Implementation of Project Quality Plan and Inspection Test

Plan (ITP).

Review of Purchase Order (PO), approved Drawings and Project

procedures.

Stage inspection is followed as per the Inspection Test Plan

(ITP).

Inspection of raw materials with respect to procurement order

and Mill Test Certificate (MTC).

Review of MTC and procurement documents for traceability and

conformance to mechanical and chemical properties in

accordance with applicable codes & standard like ASTM, BS EN,

etc.

Fit-up and Dimensional Inspection of materials in fabrication

stage with respect to the approved drawings and

specifications.

Welding Inspection (stage wise & final) of all kinds of Steel

Structures, Piping system, Storage tanks, Ducting, etc. as

per the project specification, weld map, and related

applicable codes like AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX.

Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and

Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as per ASME section IX

and AWS D1.1.

Witnessing Welder Qualification tests and monitoring of

welding parameters during the process.

Non Destructive Testing (NDT): Witnessing various Non

destructive tests like, Radiographic Test (RT), Magnetic

Particle Test (MPT), Dye Penetrant Test (DPT) and Ultrasonic

Test (UT) in accordance with ASME Sec V & AWS D1.1.

Coordinating with Lifting Department for conducting the load

test of lifting equipments like containers, spreader beams,

tanks, man basket, skips, etc.

Witnessing various mechanical lab tests like, Tensile Test,

Hardness Test, Bend Test, Impact Test, Fillet Fracture Test

and Macro Examination.

Process Inspection of Valves and Instruments mounted on the

piping System using P & I Diagram and Fabrication drawing.

Witnessing Hydro Test of Pipe lines & Piping systems.

Blasting and painting inspection of various Fabricated

products by using Thickness profile gauge, Wet film thickness

gauge and Digital coating thickness gauge during blasting,

priming, mid and final coat stages according to client and

manufacturer specification.

Before blasting and Painting environmental conditions were

checked, verified and recorded.

Site Inspection: To visit the site for checking whether all

erection works and welding are carried out in accordance with

QA/QC program, Project drawing & specification. When

defective materials, equipment, or workmanship are found,

immediate action to be taken to correct them and to report

the Site Superintendent.

To check and verify all repairs or corrective actions are

performed in each stages of fabrication and erection, if any.

Documentation: Preparing the FINAL DOSSIER at the completion

of Project.

Maintaining the ISO Documents for Auditing purpose.

Updating & maintaining the calibration status of all

instruments.

Sending RFI (Request for Inspection) to Client or Third Party

Inspector (TPI) for the inspection of product/material.

Raising the NCR (Non Conformance Report) for the concern

department who's going against the Quality Plan and project

specification.
