Propylene Recovery Unit: PRU

This is LPG Splitter. It consists of a (PROPANE -PROPYLENE SPLITTER )

Propylene Purification Tower of 60M height with 185 trays. It consists

of a Heat Pump Compressor to maintain the bottom temperature of the

Column.Products-PROPANE taken to gas plant in the refinery&Propylene is

MTBE Unit:

MTBE Prducing from Iso butelyne and Methanol in the presence of Strong

Cataion Resin Catalyst (A product of Sulfonation of a Co Polymer of

Polystyrene and Di Vinyl Benzene)

Alkylation Unit:

Production of Iso Octane by the reaction of Iso Butylenes and Iso

Butane in the presence of Sulphuric Acid as Catalyst.This unit consist

of a Centrifugal Compressor with a HP Steam Turbine. Acid Gas Recovery

Unit

Alkylation-high octane hydrocarbons, which are used in gasoline blends

to reduce knocking
