Description : This is a project about “ protection of 400kv switch yard” in power plant for economical

transmission of power to various loads centers by using protective devices like circuit

breakers,isolators,earth switch,relays,computer-based SCADA system (for control, metering and

synchronizing),capacitive voltage transformers etc..

Title : Operation of three phase traction locomotives

Location : Electric Loco Shed, SCR, Lallaguda

Description : This project about “operation of three phase traction locomotives” 3phase locomotive is

one of the greatest revolutionizing developments of the world which has been responsible to

open new area on applications of electrical engineering by gradually improving various

technologies involved in the construction, development implementation at different stages in

Indian railways right from 1955 till date.
