> Successfully outsourced all aspects of a fuel management system to
service the nation's 3rd largest truck fleet, achieving $1.4 million in
cost reduction in 2003 and $2 million in 2004 without sacrificing
operational requirements. Subsequently, agreement ensured fuel supply was
maintained even during emergency conditions.
> Delivered 'industry first' pay-as-you-go wireless plan for all
companywide wireless devices in 2003, in a time when companies had to buy
plans with set minutes. Utilized an RFP to introduce a new concept of not
overpaying for minutes not used or being penalized for overusing the plan
minutes, saving the company 27% in wireless spend.
