Supervisor – M icrobiology Laboratory

• Supervises operations in the laboratory and the business and technical operations

w ithin Visayas and M indanao.

• Evaluates and analyzes tests and ensures accurate and accordance with prescribed

test standards and specifications.

• Develops new test procedures and techniques, and whenever necessary.

• Conducts microbiological audits to ensure high quality products at all t imes and to

ensure specifications of the market requirements and food safety are being provided.

• Ensures systematic workflow by regular and proper t iming of laboratory tests in

order of priority and maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the laboratory.

• Coordinates and prepares relevant tasks as may be assigned by Superior.

Food Analyst - M icrobiology

• Conducts microbiological audits to ensure high quality products at all t imes and to

ensure specifications of the market requirements and food safety are being provided.

• Performs microscopic examination of finished products, on-line products, and raw

materials.

• Performs sampling, testing, and analyses of raw and finished products based on the

defined Quality Manual.

• Performs standardization and prepares reagents and solutions.

• Performs M icro-analytical analysis of finished products, and raw materials, which

i ncludes Metal Fragment, worm and insect count and Howard Mould Count.

• Conducts M icrobiological analysis on Finished products and raw materials such as

Total Plate Count, Moulds and Yeasts, Tests for Pathogens such as Salmonella and

Coliform/E. Coli, including special requirements such as Lactobacillus, Acido-

Thermophilic Spore forming Bacillus, Heat Resistant Moulds, and conducts spoilage

testing of products, and other special M icrobiological analysis for special requests.

• Conducts M icrobiological Environmental testing such as Equipment swab, Canteen

swab, Glove swab, Hand swab, Air Bacterial Load, and Water Potability Tests.

• Performs operational checks on machinery and equipments prior to use.

• Handles GMP, GLP ISO 17025:2005, and HACCP Standards based on the Quality

and Safety Manuals.

• Ensures that all documents, procedures, and reports are followed base on the

i nternational standards, and conformances.

L aboratory Analyst – Physico-chem

• Conducts Physico-chemical testing of food samples such as pH determination, acidity

percentage, brix/acid ratio, nitrate and chloride, organoleptic analysis, and sensory

evaluation of products, and insoluble solids percentage analysis.

• Performs standardization and prepares reagents and solutions.

• Performs operational checks on machinery and equipments prior to use.

• Handles GMP, GLP ISO 17025:2005, and HACCP Standards based on the Quality

and Safety Manuals.

• Ensures that all documents, procedures, and reports are followed base on the

i nternational standards, and conformances.

Quality Assurance Auditor

• Conducts audits and inspections on processing lines to ensure specifications are met

according to the standards.

• Conducts physico-chem and microbiological testing on environmental audits and

water potability tests.

• Handles GMP, GLP ISO 17025:2005, and HACCP Standards based on the Quality

and Safety Manuals.

• Ensure that all procedures and reports are followed base on the international

s tandards, and conformances.
