Stage wise Hull Structural & Weld Inspection as following

Prefabrication Stage:

Incoming plate inspection, Plate identification & material traceability,

laminar checking, Nesting plan, Marking, WEP, Fit-up, weld visual.

Assembly Stage:

Alignment of bulkheads, frames, girders and stiffeners by water level, plumb,

spirit level etc. To check missing elements, deformation, buckling & weld

defects.

Erection Stage:

Block butt fit-up, Block to block alignment, welding according to welding

schedule, scantling & dry survey according to drawing.

General Survey:

To ensure that the fabricated structure comply with the specified

requirements of pertinent drawings, quality standards and customer

specifications at various stages of fabrication.

Carried out inspection like APT, Hydro test, Structural test, Hose testing,

vacuum test etc.

Welding Survey:

To qualify welding procedure & welders and prepare documents like WPS, PQR,

WPQ.

To verify the lab test reports of the test coupon after Destructive tests &

NDT.

To arrange & interpretation NDTs according to NDT plan & give repair

procedure.

Documentation:

Prepare & maintain documents like QAP, Internal & Surveyor inspection

reports, NDT plan, Tank testing plan, Procedures, NCRs, Mill TC & Class

approval material certificates, Consumables certificates, Equipments manual &

certificates, Class certification etc.

Piping Erection/Production in cargo Ship planning & organizing fabrication &

erection of daily, weekly & monthly piping as per Master Schedule through

target setting.

Review P&ID, GA drawings & Isometric drawings related to the project.

Material Take Off, Planning and control for piping fabrication and

installation.

Identification of piping systems according to class (i.e. Class I, II, III)

according to class requirements.

Piping fabrication at skid level including duties of stage inspection at

every stage according to class requirements.

Planning of spool fabrication according to erection requirements, Stage wise

inspection at different stages (i.e. Set-up, weld visual, strength testing of

spools (i.e. APT, HPT) RT, Pickling (i.e. Acidic treatments), GI, etc.

Coordination with Engineering Department and the Supervisors to resolve any

discrepancy in the drawings and production.

Pressure test, Hydro test of all piping systems according to system

requirements.

According to equipment layout end connections of every equipment.
