In charge of streamlining manufacturing process. Given task of revitalizing stagnant product lines. Successfully put together R

manufacturing department’s senior managers. Set company policies along with other Board of Director members. Worked

directly with marketing to produce new products quickly. Set up internal machine and sheet metal shop that saved company 40%

on outside vendor charges. Designed and launched new product line that took company from $4M in gross profits to $9M in

gross profits a year. Negotiated large vendor (GE, NEC, Acuson, Condor, etc.) agreements that included international travel

(Japan, China, England, Germany). Decreased time to market by using concurrent design and proto-typing techniques and JIT

inventory management. Brought the company to FDAGMP compliance after a failed inspection without fine or delay to product

delivery to customers. Appointed to the Board of Directors in 1994 after bringing product design times from 40-50 weeks down

to 21-26 weeks.

1999 – 2008

Installation of high-end appliances (Miele, Viking, Dacor, Thermador, Wolf, Sub-Zero, etc.), including designing HVAC systems

and electrical systems. Specialized applications for high rise buildings in Chicago and surrounding metropolitan area while

keeping to building codes and manufacturer’s specifications. Various consulting work primarily in mechanical and optical

design.
