Introduced multiple technology products and services into the cloud and hosting marketplace. In
this role, I am responsible for product, engineering, and development departments focusing on
the application services portfolio. The application portfolio includes enterprise business
applications, web content management, commerce, messaging and collaboration, database
technologies, big data, helpdesk, and performance management technologies. I have developed
more than 35 product initiatives, leading the vision, strategy, market research, architecture and
design, development, market launch, customer delivery, and operations management. Other key
points below:
• P&L ownership of business unit of $55+ Million with a consistent track record of achieving
sales bookings and revenue goals
• Provide thought leadership, vision, strategy, planning and budgets to executive
management and other teams in IT, Operations, Client Services, Consulting, and Marketing
• Work closely with domestic and international sales teams and alliance/partner channel
organizations
• Responsible for executive customer briefings for application services and hosting

Feb 2009 – Jan 2013 Senior Director of Managed Services
Responsible for Product Management and Engineering departments focusing on the application
services portfolio. Key responsibilities:
• P&L ownership of $20 Million grown to a $40 Million business unit. Proven track
record of achieving executive priorities for products and revenue targets – annually
achieved targeted revenue goals
• Oversight of all application products and services, with a focus on bringing new
products to market to increase customer base and building revenue base for services
• Provided thought leadership to executive management and key departments and
participated in Executive Customer Briefings
• Defined the go-to-market strategies for managed services to help meet the
product and operational goals
• Developed Service Management Solutions which standardized account
management globally as a service. Currently the most successful product launch at
CenturyLink/Savvis, it has generated more Bookings and Revenue than any other
service. Generating more than $1.5M in bookings in reoccurring services in less than 1
year from launch.

protect the company, resolved customer disputes related to application services, and
defined Service Level Agreements.

Jan 2008 - Feb 2009 Director of Application Engineering
Responsible for management of Application Engineering team and ensured strategic projects
were successful. Built and deployed application services in Cloud and Dedicated Hosting
environments. Other duties have included negotiating operational contracts on a variety of
products ranging from SSL Certificates to Oracle MySQL.
• Completed all major and minor Web, Database, Messaging and Monitoring
projects ahead of schedule.
• Supervised day to day project timelines and planning. Participated on all
deliverables with market launch along with project management, marketing, consulting,
and operations.
• Provided thought leadership on Application Engineering to executive
management. Worked closely with CTO Office and IT to develop key strategies to
differentiate Savvis from other competitors.

Jan 2006 – Jan 2008 Edward Jones Department Leader - Document Management
Responsible for the management of content and data management service teams, projects, and
technical software architects. Operational support for all content business helpdesk tiers 2–4
desks. Focus was on upgrading and maintaining data warehouse and content management
solutions. Responsibilities included programming, analysis, applications delivery, technology
deployment, and operations support desks of infrastructure technology. I was responsible for
developing and mentoring project leaders and technical associates across Business Software
Development division.
• Oversight of Capital Budget, $30 Million
• Supervised projects implementing Windows Desktops across 10,000 branch offices.
Analyzed, planned, and negotiated multiple vendor products. Removed dependencies and
upgraded multiple software packages allowing migration to proceed forward.
• Charged with reduction of helpdesk tickets. Conducted analysis, initiated study across
the business and infrastructure departments, and assembled a dedicated task force team.
The average number of documents printed per month was 40 million pages, leveraging 14
thousand printers spanning three countries in 10,000 offices. At start of investigation there
were over 5,500 problem tickets received each month due to content and printing issues.
Reduced problem tickets by 55%, saving millions of dollars annually. Received ACE Award
for this accomplishment.
• Supervised infrastructure efforts to implement SEC compliant archival storage. Projects
included Financial Planning, Trade Confirms, Fax, and Portfolio documents. These efforts
helped improve operational efficiency for both Home Office and Branch associates by
automatically archiving regulatory documentation.
Dec 2003 – Jan 2006 Department Leader of Enterprise Management Systems Projects & Planning
I was responsible for the day to day management of the Software Applications, Web
Infrastructure, and Project Management Office (PMO) areas. This included all infrastructure
products from BEA WebLogic Environments, Standard and Enterprise Java, and DB2 Connect
software.
• Oversight of Capital Budget, $25 Million
• Managed day to day operations of web infrastructure and Java technologies department.
Included upgrades to Java, BEA WebLogic, and BEA Tuxedo across the Enterprise.
Improved and stabilized environments and allowed developers to utilize latest J2EE
technologies.
• Managed, negotiated contract, and implemented replacement of office productivity tools
for Home Office with Microsoft Suite and Exchange. Replaced Applixware Suite of tools with
Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Home office improved
productivity and reduced production issues.
• Supervised 1st and 2nd level operations teams on virus protection and spam
filtering/prevention. Implemented state-of-the-art spam filtering product and integrated into
email infrastructure. Reduced spam emails by 99% for all associates without increasing staff
levels.
• Supervised implementation of Content Management. Completed RFP process with major
vendors, negotiated contracts, and implemented initial products of Stellent Content
Management. Improved workflow and functionality to expand imaging processing to UK and
Canadian offices.
Aug 2001 – Dec 2003 Senior Project Leader of Enterprise Management Systems Projects & Planning
Responsible for establishing the core architecture foundation of Java based web environments
across IT Enterprise. Other responsibilities included reporting laterally to the CTO as Application
Infrastructure Layer Leader. This responsibility was to evaluate all 3rd party vendor software and
hardware to comply with strategic vision.
• Provided day to day thought leadership for Quote and Trading systems. Daily activities
included providing design, schedule, budget, and planning oversight for internal web
environment and server installation, leading eight critical large scale projects to upgrade
software and hosting infrastructure, and establishing software development framework for
application developers.
• Supervised project team of 20 associates with budget oversight of $14 Million
• Provided strategic vision and three year technology roadmap for web architecture, working
closely with executive management.
Dec 1998 – Aug 2001 Project Leader for Solution Center Projects
Responsible for all Quoting, Trading, and Banking IT related efforts within Edward Jones.
Supervised a project staff of 15 associates with budget oversight of $8 Million dollars. Established
a Software Development Life Cycle process and developed audit assessments to ensure quality of
software delivery. Responsible for 65 projects which included Year 2000 modifications, Quote
Monitor, Reuters News and Data feeds, Bloomberg Integration, S&P upgrades, ADP migrations,
and multiple infrastructure upgrades of Trade, Quote, and News systems. I also developed
several complex Hypothetical Mutual Fund Calculators that compared past performance
projected into near and long term models.
Aug 1996 – Dec 1998 Software Developer – Product, Services, and Banking Support
Developed and supported applications dealing with quotes, trades, vendor feeds, insurance
products, and banking software. Responsibilities included design, development, integration,
and implementation of software and hardware feeds from vendors such as Reuters Quotes,
Reuters News, S&P, and NASD.
