Summer Internship
Kalyani Carpenter Special Steel Limited (June 2013 –
July 2013)
The project was aimed at finding the consumption of special steels used for forging (H11, H13 &L6) in Gujarat & Chennai
region, generating lead for the company from Gujarat. We were group of 15 member and each were assigned different
territory all around the company.
Responsibilities As Analyst:
• Performed analysis of case management data identifying market trends, possible issues & opportunities
• Carried out data mining, validation maintaining data repositories
• Finding out the probable customer using special steel and total consumption of these steels in Gujarat & Chennai
and also the future requirements
• Creating, executing and tracking defects for Test Cases and performing Manual Testing
• Conducting case and system study for project planning, scoping, estimation and tracking
• Mapped total 80 companies of Gujarat and Chennai and convert them into sales
• Used SPSS to analyze the findings
