national public health responses to manmade and natural disasters.
. Specialized in the refinement of SNS plans at the local and state
level by establishing a network of relationships amongst community
partners and first responders to respond to mass
dispensing/prophylaxis event.
. Provided consultation, technical expertise, mitigation and/or
operational support to occurrences of disease outbreaks, weather
related incidents, exercise planning and other public health incidents
with key stakeholders.
. Recruited volunteers for the ServNC database-- statewide electronic
clearinghouse for volunteers-- or a local county volunteer network to
be able to respond to a public health emergency
. Assisted with development and training for the Receiving, Staging and
Storage site for SNS operations.
