. Power System Engineering Specialist (October, 2012 - Present),

California Independent System Operator, Folsom, California : Support

real time and day ahead power market operations for CAISO market and

improve system capabilities by working closely with system operators,

Transmission Desk, Operation Engineer, training group, vendors and

internal stuff . Work through problems and contribute to the success

of implementing new project, enhancement and performance of the

system. Improve the market technology quality and availability by

helping to improve variance backlog reduction, patch release, key

interface and setting priorities that match with the ISO's overall

goal.

Closely work with various operation teams in the control floor, such

as Transmission Desk, Operation Engineers, Schedulers, Renewables to

trouble shoot any real time operational and reliability issues.

Analyze power flow failures, DC solution and work with other

operational desks in the floor to address contingency and relieving

congestion to maintain reliability at the most economic marker price.

Optimize the ISO power market systems. Work closely with power system

development team, Market Design, Operations and IT to stabilize and

mature the new market systems. Maintain action plans, work closely

with vendors and close open gaps that cause market disruptions,

dispatch issues, price anomalies, etc. Participate in the upfront

market product design phases and provide input on best options given

implementation implications. Help reduce the reliance on Siemens by

building internal skills.

instantaneous reliability and operational issues.

. Have experience in trouble shooting the Power Flow issues due to
