Project Manager - high voltage substations (2011 - 2013).
Assumed profit and loss responsibility of Engineering, Procurement and
Construction Projects in the Energy Transmission Sector, in particular
high voltage substations for public and private customers. Managed a
portfolio of 5 long term projects with volume of 1 to 4 Mio euro each,
teams of up to 10 members, and up to 10 Subcontractors per project.
Regular Project reporting and forecasting to Top Management.
. Increased Gross Margin by up to 10 % of ordare intake with respect to
assigned target through favorable negotiation of claims and change
orders, effective risk assessment, regular cost breakdownstructure
monitoring and project schedule update.
. Negotiated change orders with customer for a total amount of 0.5 Mio
euro, with a profitability of 20-30 % compared to project profitability
of 10-20%.
. Reduced risk contingency by up to 50 % in all contracts, thereby
converting contingency into profit.
Quality Manager of the Energy sector (2009 - 2011).
Managed all aspects of quality, above all maintain ISO 9001 certification,
produce quality reporting, run audits to departments and assessments to
Top Management. Drove quality improvements by monitoring against strategic
KPIs and implementing improvement plans as needed. Coordinated and trained
quality managers of divisions and business units. Reporting to Quality
Manager Italy and to Sector Energy on quality issues.
