Objective
I am interested in obtaining a full-time position will utilize acquired knowledge from my
collective work experience and from my five-year chemical engineering degree.
Skills
Project/Process Design and Management
• Nearly three years of experience in designing, building, optimizing, testing, and
presenting industrial processes and procedures as well as small scale prototypes and
simulations. Examples include improved processes to vacuum debinding and sintering
furnaces, an reorganized floor plan to optimize equipment layout and flow, a solar-
powered steam boiler, a two-stage chemical reactor, and an acrylic acid chemical plant
with parameters.
PLC Training
• Basic training and exposure to PLC logic, specifically SIEMENS. Applications so far
have included navigating a PLC system to diagnose and optimize the process in a vacuum
furnace.
Public Speaking and Communication
• Four years of training and experience in debate, interpretation, and impromptu
speeches. Design and Management Projects mentioned above also involved working in
groups and giving presentations that were sometimes hours long and in front of hundreds
of people.
Engineering Training
• Three years in engineering pro-school with courses in Chemical Plant Design,
Process Control and System Dynamics, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Engineering
Safety and Ethics, Process Data Analysis, Polymer Engineering and Science, Thin Film
Materials Processing, and Technical Writing.
