Cooling Products Business Unit Manager

200+ workers on 3 shifts building geothermal HVAC

equipment.

Duties include management of: cell leaders, design

engineering, manufacturing engineering, drafting,

methods, quality assurance, production and manpower

planning, scheduling, and purchasing.

DFT implementation, ISO 9001 implementation, and TQM

practices.

Accomplishments: Wrote level I-III factory ISO

documentation and gained certification on initial

submittal, attained DFT certification from Trane,

eliminated finished goods, established VMI for major

components, and developed DTAKT statistical model for

planning and controlling all factory labor.

3 days on 80% of product line, exceeded production plan

and profit plan every month, reduced labor/unit 20%,
