My attached resume outlines my experience in the insurance industry for the past 27 years. I am currently managing litigated and non-litigated claim files for both personal lines and commercial lines policies. The fact patterns range from the most simple to the most complex, dealing with coverage issues, property damage, advertising injury, personal injury and serious bodily injury including fatalities.

I have successfully completed investigations and responded to inquiries regarding these types of claims. These investigations include interviewing insured's, claimants, and witnesses and exchanging information to resolve these claims or lawsuits. Several cases could not settle but I stayed actively involved in the litigation process by hiring attorneys from across several different jurisdictions. I remained heavily involved with these cases in a variety of ways including monitoring discovery, directing activities of defense counsel, attending and being involved in mock trials, mediations, legal motions and trials for the purpose of ensuring appropriate litigation management and legal cost management.

I am vastly experienced in setting proper reserves and adjusting those reserves as needed through the handling of each individual claim.

I have in-depth experience collaborating with other departments in claims and communicating with clients, management, agents and staff. I have developed training programs for agents and their staff and have given numerous presentations regarding claim processes and coverage issues.

I have put on many training sessions for new claims representatives in 2013 year I was chosen to be part of a team that developed a Legal Resource tool for the Pacific Northwest Zone which collected current law from the six states to be used for the most commonly handled claims. I accomplished this while handling a large volume of claims from all six different states.

Last year, I was selected by our casualty leadership team to develop a power point presentation and lead training sessions on the Legal Resource tool to all casualty claim representatives and managers in the zone. I was also selected to lead a committee of my peers in developing statement outlines to be used in various claim handling applications.
