I'm a graduate student of N.E.T.T.T.S. I hold a class A license with air breaks, hazmat, tanker endorsments. I have

3 certificates in hazardous material training, Osha saftey training, defensive driving training..i have over 2 years

driving a straight truck 26 or 28 ft with over 400, 000 miles of safe and on time deliveries.I'm also certified and

trained in driving a semi truck. I'm interested in working for a local company where I can establish myself and

prove that I can be a loyal employee..

CLASS B DRIVER (DELIVERY)

Pods transportation-ludlow,Ma 5/13 to 7/14.

my responsibility is to check my order form, look things over and make sure i have all items that come

with costumers orders.im also responsible for loading my truck with 2000 pound moving containers

. strap my container down then i do a pretrip inspection on my ttrainingand lift...i deliver containers to

consumers on there driveways or yards. in order for me to unload containers full or empty i use a devise

called a podzilla its a hydraulic machine used to load and unload on my truck.

Responsibilities

J.S.T transport - Plainville, MA - April 2012 to May 2013

my first part of the day was to report to main office,pick up truck keys,see if I have any special instructions .then

go to the yard find my assigned truck .do an inspection on my truck and make sure I had emergency equipment's

then report to DHL freights to pick up and load my freight .once I load my truck and make sure everything is

secured and locked I make my deliveries .my deliveries all together totalled 350 miles a day .I was responsible for

getting to my clients there merchandise in a timely matter even when there was a blizzard or hurricane or snow

storms or dangerous high winds I would get there no matter what. once I was done with my deliveries I would do a

couple more pick ups and then head back to DHL freights and unload truck. then I take truck back to main office

and drop off all my paperwork and do finale inspection of truck.

Accomplishments

my accomplishments was doing my deliveries on time and making our costumers happy.

Skills Used defensive driving skills .used my skills driving in extreme weather .loading and unloading skills.

Responsibilities

first part of my job was to get my order sheet, load my truck according to my paper work .once loaded I locked my

trailer which was mandatory . then I would do an inspection on my 26 ft box truck to make sure I have no

problems or break downs on the road also make sure I had all my emergency equipment's. then I can begin my

deliveries. I would make my deliveries in a safe but efficient time. my job required me to unload my deliveries in

front of stores or in back at the docks. Once my deliveries were complete I would gather all my signed paperwork

together,fuel my truck if it was necessary park my truck and do a finale inspection on my truck then turn in my

paperwork.

Accomplishments

well because this was my real first job driving a straight truck which did not require a CDL and I only had this

contract for a few months I feel I accomplished a lot I learned how to deliver merchandise to costumers and

understand there needs and complaints. Learned how to drive better became a more confident driver.

Skills Used I used my defensive driving skills that I learned in school. I got better skilled in reading a map and

driving, using gps and taking alternate routes during traffic or accident. I used my skills in loading and unloading a

truck..
