• Served as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the National Security Agency’s network and
ensured that the information assets, intellectual property and controlled/regulated data were protected.
• Managed security incidents and events thereby protecting both the NSA’s and the unit’s reputation.
• Provided the leadership for the development, support and implementation of Cyber Security initiatives which
elevated the organization’s security capabilities.
• Developed, directed and monitored facility defenses against security breaches and vulnerability issues.

• Served as the Director, Enterprise Systems for the Southwest Asia Cyber Center which demanded managing
high-volume, service-oriented IT operations - a senior leadership role.
• Acted as Program Manager who planned and conducted 24/7 operations and maintenance of Army and other
DoD component network services, including the Nonsecure IP Routed Network (NIPRNET), Secure IP Routed
Network (SIPRNET) and Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System - International Security
Assistance Forces (CENTRIX-ISAF) in support of operations within the US Central Command area of
responsibility, including the networks in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
• Managed over 40 soldiers and contractors in the operation (including hiring, training, staff development,
performance management and annual performance reviews)
• Directed the maintenance and optimization of data network equipment valued at over $500 million that
supported over 160,000 user accounts and prevented over 40 million network events and intrusions daily.
