QMED/Oiler: NOAA Augmentation Pool, Norfolk, VA 7/11 – 7/13

Assisted in the day to day operation of the Diesel Electric propulsion plant. Monitored four Caterpillar diesel generators, and all systemic

support systems. General maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sanitation, hydraulic, and structural priorities. Maintenance and

repair of high voltage control switches, rebuild of low and high voltage solenoids. Experience in designing,running wire for and final

installation of multi-unit zone lighting. Experience in diagnosing and repairing faults in three phase machinery(I.E. faulty grounds;

reverse phasing, etc..) Experience in M.I.G, T.I.G and Arc welding, brazing for plumbing and HVAC systems; operated the fabrication

HVAC systems; fabrication and operated the machine shops equipment on all assignments. I maintained the appearance and cleanliness

Performed the same duties as stated above, in a limited capacity.

Cook: U.S. Coast Guard 10/01 – 7/04
