Billing)

Project Description: BT-Global Services is BT's business services &

solutions division that provides integrated data & value added services to

meet the needs of multi-site organizations in all key commercial centres of

Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific. BT GS as a communication provides is

involved in placing Orders, reporting faults, billing etc. for different

telecom products like, PSTN, ISDN2, ISDN30, Ethernet, MPLS, etc.

Service Engine/CSDK program aims to provide consolidated way and produce

standardized set of system and process for large MNC and UK contracts. The

primary objective of the Service Engine programme is to deliver

efficiencies by migrating large MNC and UK contracts to a standard business

operating model by providing a contract management solution that reduces

people intensity, the occurrence of failure and ensures success during

contract bid, transition and transformation to improve the margin on MNC

deals for British Telecom.

Roles & responsibilities:

> Experience in the documentation of specifications, design and

development of use case scenarios.

> Manage the requirements and ensure that all the phases have traceability

to the requirements.

> Conduct Requirement Gathering Workshops like GUF Call's (Gold User Forum

call).

> Create Customer Demands stories and CE stories e stories that CSDK

deliver as Capabilities

Project Description: BT-Openreach responsible for owning, maintaining and

developing the local access network (the 'first mile' of wire) which links

homes and businesses to BT exchanges. Openreach acts as a customer for the

network & services owned and offered by another LOB like BT Wholesale, BT

Retail and other vendors/communication providers.

Openreach Process Solution Project mainly involves requirement analysis,

demand management, process designing, RPB impact analysis, process

consulting / base lining / re-engineering and pre-sales for BT Openreach.

Roles & responsibilities:

> Get a clear understanding of the requirement on discussion with the owner

> Detailing Functional requirements and User requirements.

> Engagement with various stakeholders (Business, Service and Operations)

> Prioritization of requirements based on the impacts for a Release

> Executing the modelling of business process at high & low level on ARIS

> Documenting the process deltas (Mock-ups for reports) and identifying the

impacts on components as a result of proposed solutions

> Coordinating with stakeholders for CE analysis, business case

UK. The project involved the E2E Testing for UKBS stack, developed by

British Telecom for L2C, T2R & C2M Blue Print Journeys of its offerings

like PSTN, Feature-Line, and ISDN & Broadband.

Roles & responsibilities:

> Solely responsible for testing of the new features and functionalities,

defect reporting, Test Case Design for both L2C (Provision)and T2R Flows

> Test data, Test plan & test case preparation, System test execution,

System Integration Testing and support, User Acceptance Testing and

support.

> Test environment setup & Creation of Test summary report.

> Testing the new CR's for the customer requirements or functionality.

> Responsible for review of test case preparation & test scenarios.
