Work on Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects ranging from $100k to $7.5M
Prepare project scope, requirement specifications, go for bid and participate in the
selection of vendor
Work with financial planners and accountants to allocate values to purchased and installed
equipment so they can be amortized over their useful life
Prepare updates and communicate project status to Steering Committee in weekly
conference calls
Prepare project closure reports that are presented to CEO and global headquarter
Work on maintenance projects spanning from root cause analysis, preventative/predictive
maintenance to CapEx
Apply health and safety codes in designing and installing systems used by operators
Perform safety assessments
Participate in 2P (Production Planning) processes to plan layout drawings and processes
Design various mechanical devices such as CNC pipe clamp jaws and material handling
systems
Calculate loads, stresses, dimensions, etc. in designing parts
Model and draft parts and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD and provide
vendors manufacturing drawings
Employ and work with contractors to accomplish installation tasks
