OBJECTIVE: To acquire leadership and knowledge, excel in innovative technology
application, interact and share with team members and colleagues and to develop
world-class solutions to real world challenges.
I would ensure that students are getting the knowledge and skills needed to transfer
and succeed. Wish that the girls especially start their own small endeavours such that
each girl transforms atleast one village.
INTEREST: Diseases and treatments in Humans using modern sciences like
Bioinformatics.

CURRENT RESEARCH
Currently am working on projects related to the treatment and prevention of
infectious diseases like Malaria, Tuberculosis and AIDS. The primary work involves
drug designing by the use of Bioinformatics as a tool. I basically work on the
hypothesis that if Nature has given a disease it has its cure too hidden somewhere and
that needs to be explored. These projects I do at a personal level only.
4
The Other project I am involved with is the Characterization of Chromium
Accumulating bacteria from the tannery effuluent in Kanpur. The characterization is
in progress.
Another project is based on early detection of Cancer and based on CNAPS.
PATENTS:
1. Have been granted a Scholarship to File patent and bear all the expenses by
NRDC, a body of DST, Delhi as a co-author for the malaria project.
