Work Experience
Sales Associate/Customer Service
Vf Outlet
Calhoun, GA
November 2013 to July 2014
Responsibilities
I had many responsibilities, I would usually have to run customer service which meant i was
always at the front of the store, greeting people as they came in. If i was not at one of the
registers I would be on the sales floor cleaning, picking up clothes from the floor, organizing, or
helping a customer find what they needed. If I would open up in the morning there was a slightly
different routine. We would walk the store and make sure everything was organized, we cleaned
the bathrooms, and made a schedule for the other workers coming in later that day.
Accomplishments
I feel like having the experience of being a sales associate taught me to be more of a patient
person while i interact with hem physically. Becoming more of a responsible person i i dealt with
money and duties that were given to me day, Becoming a better representative of the store that i
worked also gave me a small raise after a few months for doing and performing so well.
Skills Used
I used many skills one being always having a outgoing and positive attitude with each and every
customer. Having a lot of patience, helping talking and interacting with many customers
sometimes more than one at a time. Organization was always a big one here. We were always
organize clothes by color, size, brand and having to know exactly where everything was. I also
dealt with handling money as well from counting it at night to opening them up in the morning
before the store opened. Knowing at least simple math was a must, because sometimes the
registers would not open so we would have to use a basic calculator. Team work was also that
was used a lot we would usually rotate throughout the day, from being on the sales floor,
registers, and fitting area.
