Project Description

In Symantec QlikView Support our project team owns all the environments like Prod, Development,

QA and UAT. Apart from QlikView dashboard development, we are responsible for the performance,

deployment, migration and almost all the happenings to these environments. Worked for different

business groups like Sales, finance, VCC, Trustservices, Sympay, GSO and CMC.

Role and Responsibilities

Gathering functional requirements and reporting requirements from application stake

holders.

Designed data model in QlikView to accommodate the application requirements.

Working on writing complex Scripts to load Data in QlikView Applications. Extracted data

from sources like SFDC, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and Flat files.

Implemented SECTION ACCESS for some dashboards – Row level security and hiding sheets

Developed SET ANALYSIS to provide custom functionality in QlikView Applications.

Developing trend analysis reports using complex graphs for study of data quality patterns.

Implemented Tableau style charts for business requirement

Used Google cluster extension in one of the dashboard

Worked on large scale and data volume based applications

Worked extensively and developed VBA Macros

Dashboards were served to track services and service order information as well as to

monitor various KPIs. Dashboards included customer detail drilldowns, threshold gauges and

Metro POC is set of dashboards that summarize the detailed sales data for each outlet at diffe rent

level of hierarchy. Dashboard portrays the trend of sales compared in terms of Years, Product,

Customer Type and some others. Major focus area of this program is to deliver a clear visualization of

their raw data.

Role and Responsibilities

Dashboard was developed to understand sales distribution across the region, product and

vendor

Implemented Comparative analysis using Alternate states feature of QlikView

Showed seasonal trend with radar chart

Extensively used Set analysis for overriding user selection especially on Summary sheet

Used cyclic and drill down groups in charts

Development of scripts (QVW application) for creating connection and storing the data in

QVDs.

Home Serve QlikView Dashboard is developed for the management team to look into details at

different level. We got a chance to implement incremental load. Here we published reports to end-

users email as pdf.

Project Description

ZURICH-UW BPM Reporting Phase 2 aims at loading the data from PEGA to ZEA layer going through

Reprocessing staging layer, ZNAW layer modeled based on Insurance Application Architecture (IAA) and

ZEA staging.BIX extracts the incremental data from PEGA database and generates CSV files. These files

will be the source for ETL process along with limited number of PEGA database ta bles as source.

Informatica mapping will trim the data fetched from the source CSV files using User defined function in

Informatica. Then the data will be loaded into target DB2 tables after applying a date filter on the

source records.
