Oversee a caseload of Probation and Parole consumers who have mental and/or
medical impairments.
Provide case management services to include continued assessment of mental
status as well as supportive individual counseling: coordinating schedules
for substance abuse and lifestyle groups and working with the offender in
meeting treatment plan goals.
Work closely with Probation and Parole Officers to coordinate services to
meet the needs of the Offender, establish goals to move the offender to
successfully completing probation/parole.
Working with Drs. and nurses, I help the offender to meet scheduling
demands for continued psychiatric evaluation of their progress and
achieving medication management of their particular illness. I also ran
anger management groups for several months at MIOF, using CBT to help the
consumers to find better ways of handling situations that frustrate them.

severity of suicidal, homicidal, and decompensating behaviors and staffing
