My employment experience includes 24 years in mental health, mental retardation, education, and social work fields. I have 14 years of work
within the educational field. I have worked in school settings that provided educational services to families and students near U.S.A.F. basis.
Additionally, I grew up in the military as my father retired from the U.S.A.F. with twenty years and continues to be very act ive in the Korean and
Vietnam Veterans associations. Therefore, I am very familiar with the needs of military families. The previous positions I have held include
LSSP, Crisis Counselor, Special Education Teacher, Youth Specialist, Family Preservation Social Worker, Day Treatment Social Worker, Adult ESL
Teacher, and a Community Service Aide for CPS. My primary experience is in counseling, crisis intervention with youth and family members,
assessment/evaluation, social assessment, consulting, teaching and direct service provision for individuals who were considered at risk and
there family members. I have provided services in the community out-patient, school, and in-patient treatment. Additionally, I collaborated
with other community resource professionals, education administrators and teachers, and other mental health/mental retardation
professionals. I am licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) and Social Work Independent Practice
Recognition (LBSW IPR) as well as certified with Texas Education Agency (TEA) as a Special Education Teacher (pre K-12).
