Amerapex Corporation, Houston, TX
Research and consult for the NDT ‘Non-Destructive Testing’ division.
Test and evaluate products.
Technical support for NDT inspections projects. The most recent one was in
Philips 66 Refinery in Lake Charles, LA. Doing PMI ‘Positive Material
Identification’ inspection of tens of miles length of pipelines, involved
thousands of readings, data management, reading and understanding of
engineering drawings, inspection data organization, and documentations.
Develop technical reports and presentations for new and advanced NDT
methods for clients and companies internal personnel.
Perform 3D Laser scanning and 3D reconstruction for volumetric modeling
and inspection.
2. (08/2011-02/2013) Optical Instrumentations Engineer,
Visitech International, Sunderland – United Kingdom
Worked with Electronic Engineers in the production-line, building of confocal
laser imaging systems.
Design and development for products, strong hands-on lab equipment
approach.
Quality tests and documentations.
Develop and review procedures for devices assembly.
Create technical reports on related QC.
