Employment History:
Lab Supervisor and Scientist, MPR Services, Inc., Dickinson, TX (a wholly
owned subsidiary of Tessenderlo Kerley). MPR specializes in ion exchange
purification of alkanolamines and glycols and oxidation of spent caustics.
Performed process development research on several projects which resulted
in a patent issuance for one in particular. Saved the company more than
$35,000 by refurbishing titrators by cannibalizing spare parts from broken
units. Designed and implemented the building of a new laboratory facility.
Responsibilities included methods development and training of lab and
production personnel in the use of equipment including GCs, ICs, HPLC, ICP,
Automated Titrators. Supervision of four lab chemists and technicians.
Training operations personnel on field chemistry procedures. Established
SQC protocols for the lab. (Oct. 1999 - July 2014)
Staff Chemist, The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Houston Chemical Plant,
Houston, TX. Designed and implemented the building of a new laboratory
facility. Responsibilities: GC, physical and titrations methods
development. Performed modernization/documentation of existing procedures
and team coordination of several ongoing projects. Establishing SQC
protocols for the lab. TQM. ISO-9001 program development and
implementation. Implemented use of new GC Data System (Turbochrom).

LaPorte, TX. Responsibilities: GC and LC methods development for their
agricultural chemicals operations, THF operations, and Ethyl-Vinyl Alcohol
plant start-up operations. (July 1991 - Sept. 1992)
Contract Chemist, Adams Laboratories, Ft. Worth, TX. Responsibilities:
Assisted in the move of their laboratory from Hurst, TX to their new
facility in Ft. Worth, Methods Development in a pharmaceutical GLP
environment. (Feb. 1991 - May 1991)
Senior Engineer (Chemist) in the Materials and Processes Control Laboratory
at General Dynamics Corp., Fort Worth Division, Fort Worth, TX. (GD was
purchased by Lockheed and it is now called the Lockheed Fort Worth
Company.) Responsibilities: Operation of FTIR, Elemental Analyzer, Thermal
Conductivity, and UV/VIS/NIR Spectrophotometry equipment. Backup operator
of a HP GC-MS system and X-Ray Diffraction equipment. Assisted in the
establishment of a composite layup/curing of Carbon-Carbon materials for
use in the National Aerospace Plane Program. (April 1988 - Jan. 1991)
Staff Analytical Chemist and Lab Co-Supervisor, Analytical Development
Laboratory at Rohm & Haas Texas, Deer Park, TX (Acrylic Monomers). (Now
part of Dow Chemical) Responsibilities: Supervision and training of five
technicians. Assisted in the set-up of and move into the new laboratory
facility in 1987. Operation of GC, LC, IC and titration equipment.

Deer Park, TX (Now Hampshire Chemicals) Responsibilities: Established an
analytical method library and developed automated titrations for routine
