PROJECTS
1. Hardware based object tracking
Two novel techniques for object detection has been developed. One using a machine learning
approach by introducing a concept of pattern matching with a mixed signal circuit and the
second one based on the binary XNOR operation. One publication regarding this work is
undergoing review in IEEE Trans. on VLSI Systems
Team Size : 3
Duration : 4 months
My Part : Design, development and testing of circuits using SPICE and behavioural
modelling using VHDL.
Tools Used : LT Spice, Xilinx ISE
2. Memristor based computational circuits
Memristor based neuromorphic circuits that can be used to develop unconventional com-
puting architecture to achieve the goal of mimicking brain like computing in VLSI has been
designed. For this project various basic logic functions like NAND, NOR, XOR etc. has been
developed by using an hybrid model of memristor and CMOS Technologies. There are four
publications from this project in which two are published and two are undergoing review.
Team Size : 1
Duration : 8 months
My Part : All works related to the research and development of the circuits
Tools Used : LT Spice, MATLAB
