Organization: Star Coolers & Condensers Pvt. Ltd., Jalgaon.

The dissertation aims to reduce the size of Air-Cooled Condenser by keeping the

same Heat Transfer rate using CFD (ANSYS FLUENT).

The 12.7mm copper tube is replaced by 9.52mm copper tube by using same operating

conditions in order to get same Heat Duty.

Pressure Drop and Nusselt number were compared and percentage reduction of

material used was found out.

Design Software for Selection of Rolling Contact Bearing - Undergraduate Project

Duration: 1 year (2010-2011)

The software was enveloped in Visual Basic 6.0.

The bearing no. and dimensions tables are made in MS office Access and combined

with Visual Basic 6.0.

The SKF bearing is selected automatically according to its Axial & Radial load,

Temperature, Diameter of shaft, and need of application.
